With everything from a clothing line to collaborations with 9th Wonder in the works, it's easy to see why Wyldeflowher is definitely an artist to look out for.

Malia Chapouris (aka Wyldeflowher) is the sort of woman who can do it all. Not only does she possess an incredibly mixed ethnic background of Venezuelan, Spanish, Irish and Greek, but she holds just as much variety in the talent area as well. Whether she's modeling, pursuing her career in hip-hop or even working on her own clothing line, this California native is an incredible individual.

On The Music

Even though she's been into hip-hop since the tender age of five, she's still incredibly business savvy and has a very selective attitude towards record labels. "If someone wants to pick me up label wise, I'm with it" says Wyldeflowher. "But I'd have to be big. I'd rather be independent...get a little independent deal going. That way, I have the bandwidth to do what I want."

Other than working on her own album, she is currently in the works of a collaborative album with another artist by the name of Swann Notty. As if more excitement was needed, both her and Notty will be working with many producers on the project- including 9th Wonder. "Swann Notty is working with him and he has a whole cd of beats" she explains.

Though Ms. Wyldeflowher has not been able to work with the superproducer in person yet, such an opportunity is on the horizon. "He [Swann] shot me a couple of 9th Wonder tracks...we recorded it...we finished it and he shot it to 9th. Ninth loved it! He wants us to go to North Carolina...to re-record." Needless to say, Malia was ecstatic: "When I heard 9th approved it, it was a done deal."

Multitasking

To this emcee, anything is possible. Even with her wide array of talents, she never gets overwhelmed: "I'm getting my logo done for my clothing line right now. That's one of my main focuses but you know what's dope? I can balance between them. I can focus on sketching out something and then put it away and then focus on my raps. Do that, put on a beat, and then schedule a shoot."

Other Accomplishments

So, besides being an incredibly talented hip-hop artist and working on her "Malia Chapouris" clothing line, what else has Wyldeflowher done? Well, quite a lot. Besides modeling for such companies as Rawkus Records, she is also featured in upcoming issues of Legacy Magazine, Talent Buyer Magazine and The Source magazine.

California is definitely lucky to be able to claim such an individual as Wyldeflowher. Not only does she have the world going for her and the talent to back up all of her support, but she is an extremely charismatic, energetic, warm and welcoming person.
